Hi there! My name is Tricia Og and I started working in the mental health field in 2010. Since then, I’ve worked in school settings, provided crisis intervention, and provided therapy in both home-based and clinical settings. I truly enjoy working with all clients, but I specialize in working with children/ adolescents, LGBTQ, adults, and families.
From my experience, I have found that building a strong rapport with each client is just as important as the clinical intervention. Therefore, I apply a humanistic approach to foster a genuine level of care, compassion, and empathy. From a clinical perspective, I tailor sessions toward each client’s individual goals. However, the clinical interventions that I tend to incorporate the most are Play therapy, CBT, and DBT.
On a personal note, most of my free time is spent driving my kids to their sporting events and snuggling with them at home. When time permits, you can also find me at the beach, working out, watching Netflix, and relaxing with my dogs.
