Elsbeth Ebenhoe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has worked in the field for over 20 years. Elsbeth is a mother of two, an avid traveler, and enjoys outdoor adventures. Elsbeth has a wide variety of experiences in Social Work including her time in West Africa with the Peace Corps, several years in Alaska and Seattle, and also in her home of the greater Rochester area. Throughout all of these locations Elsbeth enjoyed working with people of all backgrounds. Elsbeth has extensive training in trauma, anxiety, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, behavior analysis, grief, LGTBQ issues, suicide assessment, and has worked with most significant mental health diagnoses.
She also has a strong knowledge of systems to find supports within OPWDD and OMH along with how to advocate within the educational systems. Elsbeth has focused primarily on working with youth and their families and is eager and open to working with all populations. Elsbeth values the importance of being genuine and having humor to connect, thus building strong therapeutic relationships with her clients. She uses a wide variety of therapeutic techniques to best connect with the client and collaboratively work towards achieving their goals.
