Terri Wilston-Bashnick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a graduate of Boston College. She brings a wealth of experience from a variety of clinical settings, including substance use treatment, medical social work, community mental health, crisis outreach, hospice care, and hospital-based services. Throughout her career, Terri has supported individuals facing complex mental health and substance use challenges across many stages of life.
Terri has extensive experience working with individuals navigating grief and loss, single parents, college-aged young adults, and those coping with major life transitions. She has also worked with individuals managing both mental health and substance use concerns, offering support that is compassionate, practical, and grounded in real-life experience.
Terri believes that one of the most important parts of therapy is having a safe and supportive space to talk openly about what you are going through. She takes a collaborative approach, working alongside clients to develop coping strategies and identify meaningful solutions. Terri is a strong believer that change is possible when individuals are met with the right balance of support, guidance, and encouragement.
She understands that reaching out for help can feel difficult, uncomfortable, or even overwhelming. Terri approaches each client with warmth, patience, and a nonjudgmental attitude, meeting them where they are and helping them build insight, skills, and confidence as they move forward.
Outside of her professional work, Terri enjoys spending time with her children, exercising, gardening, reading, and decorating her home.
