Polymnia (Pima) Triantafilou, LMSW, is a skilled clinician with both clinical experience as well as a background in medical social work, both in inpatient and emergency room settings. Her personal experience with EMS training as a paramedic gives her a relatable empathy when working with first responders. She also enjoys working with children and adults, guiding them in anger management and emotional regulation.
Pima brings a creative element to her sessions and enjoys implementing both play and art therapy when appropriate. She uses a person-centered approach to help clients find their strengths and create a treatment plan that suits their individual needs. Pima believes therapy gives a person the chance to work through difficult struggles and challenges in their life, with the goal of becoming a more well-rounded version of themselves. In her spare time, Pima enjoys crocheting, spending time with friends, and going to the theater.
