My name is Patty Wodenscheck and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I earned my Masters Degree in Social Work at the University at Buffalo as well as a BA in Psychology and Health and Human Services. I have been a social worker for 23 years. Initially I worked with children/ adolescents and their families in their home settings, however most of my career has been working with individuals of all ages in emergency room and crisis outreach completing psychiatric evaluations. This work focused on diagnosis and providing education and knowledge around mental health disorders and substance use issues. I am excited to bring these experiences to my work in a private practice setting. My areas of focus are: depression, anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, divorce, substance use, and stress management. I prefer a strength based perspective using CBT and solution focused techniques to help individuals of all ages with their current struggles. I look forward to being able to listen, support, empower and help individuals move toward health and wellness.
