About Me

Mary Fitzpatrick, LCSW, is a clinician with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She has worked in the foster care and child wellness field, working with both individuals and families on various levels.
Mary is a trauma-informed therapist and specializes in working with clients with Borderline Personality Disorder, teen pregnancy, self-harm, and the LGBT+ community. She believes strongly in creating a safe and supportive environment for sessions with a strong value on building a client connection. She aims to keep sessions client-centered by using modalities such as mindfulness, CBT, and DBT.
Beyond her clinical expertise, Mary has a passion for the outdoors, taking daily walks, reading, and engaging in crafts like crochet and embroidery. As a mother of three active children, she delights in watching them play soccer, run, and dance. Mary grew up in Syracuse, NY, where she earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Syracuse University. Her personal experiences with therapy, navigating difficult relationships and managing chronic illness, have inspired her to work in the field and create change for her clients.
