Madeline Velazquez, LCSW, is a dedicated clinician who takes pleasure in guiding clients toward clarity in their lives, assisting them through various transitions, such as career shifts, mid-life changes, post-divorce situations, and other significant events. She has a strong passion for working with first responders, clients who are pregnant or postpartum, and individuals who have faced trauma. Madeline has spent a lot of time experience supporting clients dealing with anxiety (across the spectrum) and those with ADHD.
In her clinical practice, Madeline prioritizes empowerment, compassion, and resilience. She employs questionnaires and treatment plans to visually track her clients’ growth and progress during sessions. Acknowledging the sensitive nature of the therapeutic relationship, she focuses on establishing connections through the vulnerability that healing requires. Madeline enjoys incorporating laughter and joy as coping strategies, and whenever possible, she integrates music therapy techniques into her sessions.
Outside of work, Madeline loves spending time in the outdoors and traveling. With 25 years of experience working with clients in crisis or those with high needs, she is happy to be in private practice, focusing on clients she feels a strong connection with as she helps them reach their goals.
