Kelsey Duell is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who earned her degree from St. John Fisher University. She brings extensive experience working with children, teens, and families, including individuals with developmental disabilities and co-occurring mental health concerns. Kelsey has a particular passion for supporting older adolescents and young adults as they transition from special education into adulthood, while also helping caregivers navigate and support these important changes.
Kelsey believes therapy can be whatever a client needs it to be. Whether you are working through a current crisis, processing past experiences, managing mental health symptoms, navigating a major life transition, or simply looking for personal growth, therapy can provide a space to slow down, feel understood, and begin to heal.
Building a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of Kelsey's approach. She takes the time to understand each client's individual goals and works collaboratively to create a therapeutic experience that feels supportive, comfortable, and meaningful. Kelsey is passionate about helping clients recognize their strengths, develop greater understanding of themselves, and feel empowered as they move forward.
Outside of work, Kelsey enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, paddleboarding, practicing yoga, traveling, reading, and watching reality TV.
