Jami Treese, LCSW
About Me

Jami Treese is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from SUNY Brockport and her Master of Social Work through the Greater Rochester Collaborative MSW Program. She brings nearly a decade of experience in crisis services, along with a background in preventive social work, family support, counseling, and children's care management.
Jami enjoys working with young adults and has a particular interest in supporting individuals with mild intellectual and developmental disabilities. She also enjoys working with parents and families and hopes to continue expanding her knowledge and training in this area.
Jami believes that building a genuine, trusting relationship is one of the most important parts of therapy. She strives to create a space where clients can show up as their authentic selves, without worrying about judgment or having to say things perfectly. Her approach is warm, approachable, and often includes humor when appropriate. Jami believes she doesn't need to have all the answers to be helpful—she is committed to listening, learning, and working alongside each client to find what works best for them.
Outside of work, Jami enjoys camping with her husband and two children, attending boxing classes, running, and trying new ways to stay active. She is also a fan of millennial throwbacks, bright neon colors, and anything involving pine trees.
