Genna Ruiz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of San Diego State University. She has experience providing therapy through the Collaborative Care model in outpatient medical settings, as well as through telehealth, supporting individuals as they navigate life's challenges with compassion and understanding.
Genna is especially passionate about working with women during periods of transition. Whether facing changes in relationships, career, family, or personal identity, she believes these moments can become opportunities for growth and healing. Through her work in women's health, she has developed a deep appreciation for the power of connection and strives to foster that same sense of support and encouragement within the therapeutic relationship.
Genna believes that each person already holds the strength and wisdom needed for growth. Her role is to provide a safe, supportive space where clients can gain insight, uncover their inner resilience, and move toward the life they envision. She brings warmth, authenticity, and humor into her sessions, helping clients feel comfortable while navigating even the most difficult conversations.
Outside of work, Genna enjoys relaxing at home with her husband and dogs, baking sourdough treats, reading, and sharing laughter with family and friends.
