About Me


We all struggle at different times and to different degrees throughout our lives and there are times when we may need help to manage through issues or mental health challenges.  It’s not easy to reach out for help but there is hope and healing is available.  Chris is a seasoned NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in clinical practice since 1989 and has been committed to helping individuals through these struggles.  Over the years he has practiced in multiple Inpatient and Outpatient settings in the private sector, community not-for-profit sector, VA hospital, and private practice and is very experienced in treating the full range of mental health issues for adults and adolescents including Depression, Anxiety, Addictions, Adjustment/Grief issues, PTSD/Trauma, Veterans issues, Anger Management, Chronic Pain Management, Marital/Couples counseling, and Suicide Prevention/Crisis Intervention.  Chris also has extensive experience closely partnering with schools, Drug Courts/legal partners, and employers whenever it’s appropriate to collaborate for the best interests and clinical outcomes of his Clients.  Finally, Chris has been a program Supervisor over the last twenty years providing clinical supervision to multiple clinicians in different clinical settings which has ensured that he is up to date with the most current and effective treatments available to best care for individuals managing mental health needs and life challenges.


What’s most important in his work with clients is to provide a safe and trusting partnership to set goals and identify steps that foster growth and achieve healing.  Recovery is possible and Chris sees it as a privilege to walk with and partner with people in their journey to Recovery.
