Andrew Bynoe, LMSW
About Me

Andrew Bynoe is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned his degree from SUNY Brockport. He currently works as a Mental Health Therapist at Genesee County Mental Health Services and brings specialized experience in trauma-informed and culturally inclusive care for youth, caregivers, and adults.

Andrew works with clients ranging in age from approximately 10 through adulthood and is passionate about helping individuals navigate trauma, attachment wounds, relational challenges, and emotional regulation. His approach blends empathy, clear communication, and structured planning to foster trust and support meaningful change. In addition to direct client care, Andrew designs adaptable psychoeducation tools, boundary-setting strategies, and cognitive- and skills-based resources to meet the unique needs of each client.

Andrew values accessibility, creativity, and sustainability in therapy, with a focus on helping clients transform personal and relational pain into practical tools for growth and healing. He believes that learning and progress often happen just outside of one’s comfort zone and is inspired by clients who are willing to take those courageous steps. Andrew is committed to meeting clients where they are, while asking for openness and collaboration as they learn and grow together.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys traveling and exploring new places.
