Amanda Marcigliano is a Licensed Master Social Worker who brings experience working in a variety of settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and neurobehavioral units. Amanda has a particular passion for working with women and children and has experience supporting individuals in residential settings related to substance use and addiction. She has provided both individual and group support and finds it especially rewarding to help clients through difficult moments while supporting them on their path toward recovery. She also enjoys working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and supporting clients from adolescence through adulthood.
Amanda believes that a strong therapeutic relationship is at the heart of meaningful therapy. She takes a person-centered approach and strives to create a safe, comfortable, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported. She meets clients where they are and works collaboratively to help them build insight, confidence, and the skills they need to move forward.
Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her wife and their dog, watching sports, and relaxing at home.
