I specialize in providing services to children, adults, families, and couples who are experiencing challenges with navigating relationships/connecting with others such as friends, family, romantic partners, etc.; difficulty with transitions, anxiety and depressive like symptoms, racism, identity exploration, faith-based confliction, parenting challenges (e.g., related to separation, joining of families, etc.), low self-esteem, and grief. I am a relational therapist and facilitate a space to support clients in feeling safe, secure, and respected. In addition, interventions you can expect to be used in therapy include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Play Therapy, Sandtray Therapy, Expressive Art Exercises, Dialectal Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.

    As a firm believer that we are doing the best we can with what we have, I incorporate a strength-based holistic approach of care. Having worked in a multitude of settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Being an affirmative multicultural clinical psychologist, I implement a culturally humble approach with the aim of treating the whole person inclusive of both your visible as well as invisible identities.

    I earned my Doctorate in Clinical and School Psychology from Roberts Wesleyan University and my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille University and my Bachelors in Sociology from the University of South Florida. I was once a Floridian and truly feel at home here in Upstate New York. I am an avid traveler and foodie. One of my most favorite pastimes is laughing with my friends and family.
