Our mental health is just as important as our physical health. My intention when working with individuals is to collaborate with them to support with the development of new tools and skill sets for improving overall wellness and functioning in all domains of life. I feel that recognizing and utilizing an individual’s strengths, resilience, and other resources enhance the therapeutic process. I believe strongly in the mind-body connection and how a myriad of factors (external, internal, etc.) influence these parts of us.
I have been practicing since 2013 as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, working with adults 18 and over, struggling with various mental health issues including: mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, stress management and reduction, anger management, disruptive thoughts, disturbed sleep, and chronic pain. I hope to support individuals with finding balance and peace.
